Frequently Asked Questions
All about shipping:
-How do you ship?  We use USPS (United States Postal Service) about 95% of the time.  Occasionally we do use Fedex for larger ground shipments.  If you order an engine, we normally use UPS Freight.

-I'm in a hurry, do you offer one day shipping?  Yes.  We use USPS Express service, which is, a one day service, maybe two in the west coast or rural area.  Email or call for a quote.

-Can you provide a tracking number for my order?  Yes, we'll be glad to email your tracking number.

-Do you ship internationally?  Yes.  We ship worldwide.  We only use USPS first class or priority. 

All about paying for your order:
-What is an acceptable form of payment?  We take Paypal, credit cards, debit cards, money orders, cash, and personal checks.  

-I don't feel comfortable giving my card information online, do you have an alternative?  Yes.  Understandable, we know your security is a top priority.  Our website is equipped with the best security encryption available and we are a registered business by the state of Missouri.  You may call and finish your order over the phone as well.  Paypal is also a very secure way to pay online.

-Do you offer COD's?  No

All about returns and refunds:
-What is your return policy?  We honor full refunds on defective parts.  However, we must test the item to make sure the claim is legitimate.  You will be asked to return the part, once its deemed defective we will pay 100% of the costs (eg. return shipping, original shipping, and sales price).  Risk free.

-I accidentally ordered the wrong part, what now?  Send it back, we'll refund the sales price only if returned in the same condition it left.  We don't refund return or original shipping on wrong parts.

-The item I received is not what was described, what can I do?.  We sincerely try our best to inspect, test, and describe every part we sell.  We are humans and will make mistakes.  A polite email will get the bosses attention and we're going to make it right.  

All about our parts:
-Can you cross part numbers to make sure this fits my bike?  Yes, we can except Harley and Buell.  

-Where can I see your entire inventory?  A quick phone call or email.  Our website has some, but eBay is a better vehicle for us to sell on.  You can see our huge eBay store here: http://stores.ebay.com/The-Motorcycle-Mortuary?_rdc=1

-Are you a salvage yard?  Kind of sort of, but not really.  We carry a salvage business license: MO-S499.  All of our parts are cataloged and stored indoors in a closed lot format.  A more fitting name for us would be online based motorcycle dismantlers.

-Do you have proof of these parts running?  Yes, we normally always take run videos and post them on youtube or our facebook page.  Can't find a run video, just ask and we'll send  a link if applicable.

-Do you sell whole bikes?  No

-Do you guarantee your parts?  Yes, all parts have a 30 day warranty.
